The second Geneva Blockchain Congress is now less than a week away. With a packed programme of events which will cover every aspect of this still-emerging and exciting new industry, the Congress is not to be missed.

The 2020 Geneva Blockchain Congress will be of the very highest quality. Geneva’s location as the nexus of several industries makes it unique across the world and it’s imperative that you don’t miss out. The topics for discussion will be at the very highest level, with the most relevant subjects covered and to include only the best experts in their respective fields, whether from the United Nations, successful multinationals or national governments. Over 112 speakers from 15 countries representing every continent will be attending, with 34 conferences currently scheduled.

A key focus is on dialogue – between the economic sector, the UN and regulatory authorities. These include the health sector, with top-level speakers from governments, start-ups, major companies as well as both the World Health Organization and the World Trade Organization. Stable coins: is the economy ready for mass adoption? The focus on digital assets and stable coins will see a unique opportunity to discuss what is required and relevant for regulating this key sector. These round table discussions will involve the unique contributions of the Banque Nationale Suisse (BNS), the Banque Nationale de France (BNF), the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI), the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and La Lietuvos Bankas, the national bank of Lithuania.

The launch of the Trust Protocol Association, an independent not-for-profit membership organisation originated by OISTE Foundation, Wisekey BRI, China Blockchain Association with the support of the Geneva State will be announced in a world premiere by Don Tapscott at the plenary session.

Hugely successful companies will also be present to offer their telling insights. The topics these companies will discuss include:

  • Blockchain ROI: IBM and Farmer connect will present how to bridge the gap between consumers and coffee farmers;
  • Illicit trade and counterfeiting in high-quality watchmaking: Richemont represented by Panerai, Vacheron, and Cartier;
  • There will also be a discussion in partnership with Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG) as part of the Healthcare and Wellness agenda.
